The Principality of Monaco frequently tops tables as one of the best places in the world to buy real estate, and a quick glance at this tiny sovereign state reveals why. Indeed, with more than 300 days of sunshine per year, stunning sea views, excellent security, healthcare and education, it might be hard to find a more ideal location to live.

The Principality is also a hot bed for cultural and sporting events, meaning that those with keys to Monaco real estate never have to go far for something exciting to do. Top Marques Monaco is one of the events people are waitind for every year...

Take April as an example. The month began with the annual cultural feast that is the Printemps des Arts, followed closely by the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, a tennis tournament which sees some of the biggest names in tennis competing at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

Top Marques Monaco: A Spring Highlight in the Principality

However, for many, including the team at Monaco real estate agency Miells & Partners the highlight of the month is the annual supercar event Top Marques Monaco, the world’s only live automobile show during which rare and exotic supercars are driven on parts of the F1 circuit.

The show also has designated areas where visitors can see and buy unique watches and jewellery in its Watch Pavilion, whilst handpicked luxury products and lifestyle articles can be found in its Luxury Lane.

Top Marques Monaco this year celebrated its 15th anniversary edition, with more
than 40,000 people turning out in the unseasonably warm weather to visit the show. Visitors discovered a magical collection of world premier supercars, classic cars and a number of revolutionary green vehicles.

The event took place between April 19th and 22nd at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum. This large convention centre on Avenue Princesse Grace shares an address with some of the most sought-after, and expensive, Monaco real estate.

However, the scintillating spectacle of colour and opulence did not stop at the doors of the venue itself. The USP of Top Marques is its live test drives, with more than 25 vehicles lined up in the pits this year for potential buyers, journalists and VIP visitors to trial on parts of Monaco’s famous Formula 1 Track.

Thanks to a long-lasting partnership with the Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Société des Bains de Mer, Top Marques was also present in Casino Square – within view of our prestigious Carré d’Or Monaco real estate - where this year’s display included the incredible Apollo IE. Supercar fans from all corners of the globe descended on the Principality to catch a glimpse of the extraordinary vehicle, valued at 2.3 million euro, as well as the scores of other luxury supercars which could be seen circulating around Monaco during the show.

Organisers said a number of major purchases were made during Top Marques, including one of the six supercars which were officially launched at the show. Another car manufacturer sold three of the four vehicles on its stand, whilst a number of extremely rare timepieces were snapped up by visitors.

Top Marques will take place next year on April 18th to 21st 2019. The team behind the supercar show also organises Top Marques Watches, an exhibition of watches and jewellery, which will take place during the Monaco Yacht Show, from September 27th - 29th 2018.
